Barbara S. Pacheco is a senior vice president and member of the Management Committee of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Ms. Pacheco heads the Financial Services Division of the Bank, which provides payments services and support to financial institutions across the United States. She also is responsible for building customer relationships with financial institutions in the seven states of the Tenth District of the Federal Reserve System.

Ms. Pacheco joined the Bank in 1982 and has had management responsibilities in a number of departments, including bank and bank holding company supervision, check collection, human resources, business development, electronic access customer support and payments system research. She holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Ms. Pacheco serves on the Board of Directors for INROADS Midwest Region, Inc. and its Kansas City Advisory Board, and serves on the Board of Examiners for the Excellence in Missouri Foundation, the sponsor for the Missouri Quality Award.
