For your group’s next outing, consider the Money Museum at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City as a unique opportunity to learn about the nation’s financial system, the Fed’s role in the regional and national economy and how it affects you.
For walk-in groups of 20 or more, please contact the Money Museum prior to your arrival so we may best accommodate your visit.
Available days: weekdays, excluding Bank holidays
Available tour times: 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Tour length: 1 hour
Group size requirements: 12 to 40 individuals per tour time slot (smaller groups may be combined to form larger groups)
Reservations: Required 15 days in advance by completing an online request form or calling (816) 881-2683
Preparation: A list of all tour guests (first and last name) who are 18 or older must be submitted at least one week prior to your confirmed tour date via email to KCtours@kc.frb.org or phone by calling (816) 881-2683 or (816) 881-2680.
Cost: Admission, tours and parking are free
We offer free presentations or lesson plans on a variety of financial topics to educational groups of all ages to supplement their Money Museum tour. More Information.

If your group would like to see the Money Museum at its own pace, our walk-in option is perfect for you. The Money Museum is designed to be self-guided, and if your group has questions, museum staff members are available.For walk-in groups of 20 or more, please contact the Money Museum prior to your arrival so we may best accommodate your visit.
Guided Tours
Guided tours are available to groups of 12 or more (smaller groups may be combined to form larger groups), and require 15-day advance registration. Student groups should be 5th grade and above.

Parking and Accessibility
The Money Museum is located on one level. Wheelchairs are available upon request. There are benches throughout the Museum. Parking, maps and directions. Bus drivers are welcome to tour the Money Museum with their groups.
