President's Letter

As one of the Federal Reserve System’s 12 regional Reserve Banks, the Kansas City Fed helps formulate monetary policy, protects the banking system, and ensures safe and efficient financial services. Combined, these three mission areas promote a stable, healthy economy.

Our headquarters in Kansas City and three Branch offices in Denver, Oklahoma City and Omaha have about 1,200 employees. Our diverse staff work in economic research, banking supervision and regulation, and payments processing, as well as supporting areas, including information technology, financial management, public affairs, and administrative services.
