FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF KANSAS CITY ANNOUNCES SALE OF
OKLAHOMA CITY BRANCH BUILDING OKLAHOMA CITY – The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City announces it has reached an agreement on the sale and partial lease-back of its Oklahoma City Branch building at 226 Dean A. McGee Ave. to GenOne Real Estate Group, an Oklahoma-based real estate advisor, along with Randy Allen and the MIDCON Companies. Under the terms of the transaction, the Bank will lease back the entire third floor of the building, approximately 22,000 square feet, to house the regional, public and community affairs division, and the bank examination and inspection department. Final approval of the transaction is pending review by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. The sale is expected to close this fall. The Oklahoma City Branch is one of three Branches of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City with employees involved in economic research, bank supervision, community affairs, public affairs and financial services. The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and its Branches in Oklahoma City, Denver and Omaha serve the Tenth Federal Reserve District, which encompasses the western third of Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Colorado and northern New Mexico. As a part of the nation’s central bank, the Bank participates in setting national monetary policy, supervising and regulating numerous commercial banks and bank holding companies, and providing check processing and other services to depository institutions. ### Return to
